Who this is
Triple R Trailers, 82 County Road 1111, Booneville, Mississippi 38829. Phone (662) 728-7975, email triplertrailers@gmail.com. This covers triplertrailers.com and the dealer portal on it.
What you hand us on purpose
The Get a Quote, Become a Dealer, Parts Request, and Request Access forms ask for your name, phone number, email, and whatever you write in the message box. That goes two places: an email to the office, and a record in our own database so an enquiry cannot be lost if an email goes astray. We use it to get back to you about what you asked. Nothing else.
Every one of those forms also has a hidden field that a person never sees. If it comes back filled in, that is usually automated spam, and the message is set aside rather than emailed. Occasionally a browser fills it in by mistake, which is why those are kept instead of deleted.
What gets collected while you look around
We use Google Analytics to count visits. It sets cookies and records which pages get read, roughly where in the country the visit came from, what kind of device, and which links get clicked on the way out. It is how we know whether a page about dump trailers is worth writing. It is not tied to your name, and we never upload our customer list to it.
There is no advertising pixel on this site. Facebook, Google Ads, and the rest are not tracking you here.
If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add-on that turns Analytics off everywhere at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and any ad blocker does the same thing. The site works exactly the same either way.
The dealer map
If you type a town or a zip into Find a Dealer, that text is sent to OpenStreetMap to turn into a point on the map. If you tap the button that uses your location, your browser hands the coordinates to the page to centre the map, and they stay in your browser. They are not sent to us and not stored anywhere.
The map tiles themselves are loaded from OpenStreetMap, which means their servers see the request the way any website you load sees your request.
The dealer portal
Dealers get a login by invitation only. Nobody can sign themselves up. The account holds an email address, a name if one was given, and which dealership it belongs to.
We never see your password. It is set by you, stored scrambled by our login provider, and cannot be read by anyone at Triple R. If you lose it we send a reset link; we cannot tell you what it was.
Orders and parts requests sent through the portal keep what you would expect: what was ordered, the price it was quoted at, the contact name, phone, and email on the request, any PO number, and any note you left. A dealership sees only its own. That is enforced by the database, not by the web page.
The portal keeps a draft of your order in your own browser so it survives a refresh. That never leaves your machine until you press send.
Who else touches any of this
We are a trailer factory, not a data company, so the moving parts are rented. Each of these only handles what it needs to:
- Vercel serves the website
- Supabase holds the database and the dealer logins
- Resend sends the emails the forms and the portal generate
- Google provides Analytics, and the maps and reviews links point at their listing
- OpenStreetMap provides the dealer map
Beyond that, we hand your details to nobody. We do not sell, rent, or trade any of it, and we have no interest in starting. If a dealer near you is the right person to help, we will say so and give you their number rather than passing your details along without asking.
The one exception is the ordinary legal one: if we are required by law to produce something, we will.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay on file so we can find them when somebody rings back about a conversation from last spring. Orders and parts requests are kept as business records for as long as they are useful, the same as any invoice. Analytics data expires on Google's own schedule.
If you want your enquiry deleted, call or email and say so. It is a small business and a short list; somebody will actually do it.
Your choices
- Ask what we have. Call or email and we will tell you.
- Ask us to delete it. Same, and we will, unless it is attached to a real order we have to keep as a business record.
- Correct it. If we have the wrong number for you, tell us and we will fix it.
- Opt out of the counting. The Analytics add-on or an ad blocker, above.
Depending where you live you may have rights beyond these. Ask and we will honour them; it is easier than arguing about it.
Children
This is a website about welded steel trailers. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
Security, honestly stated
Dealer pricing sits behind a login and is separated dealership by dealership in the database itself. Passwords are never visible to us. Traffic is encrypted. That said, no website is a vault, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling something. If we ever have a problem that affects you, we will tell you rather than hope you do not notice.
If this changes
The date at the top is when this was last touched. If something meaningful changes, that date changes with it.
